About this grant

This NOFO aims to enhance Senegal's public health infrastructure to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats through implementing partners. The initiative focuses on strengthening public health surveillance systems, including community-based surveillance, improving laboratory networks, and enhancing workforce training. The goal is to build sustainable, resilient health security infrastructure, aligning with Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) objectives. Partners will collaborate to promote cross-sectoral coordination and foster innovative approaches.

Eligibility requirements

Eligible applicants: Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Private institutions of higher education; Special district governments; For profit organizations other than small businesses; County governments; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Unrestricted (i.e., open to any type of entity above), subject to any clarification in text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility"; State governments; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; City or township governments; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Independent school districts; Small businesses.
