How we verify grants
What Verified and Limited mean, how often listings are checked, and what to do if something looks off.
Every grant in the Ryplle database carries a verification status so you can tell how much trust to put in the listing before you spend time applying. There are two statuses: Verified and Limited.
Verified means a member of our review team confirmed the grant's core details — funder name, funding amount, deadline, eligibility, and application link — against the funder's own published materials within the last 90 days. A Verified badge appears on the card, and the detail page shows the date it was last verified.
Limited means the listing is published but some details couldn't be fully confirmed, or the program details are over 90 days old and due for a re-check. You can still view and save a Limited grant, but always confirm the specifics on the funder's own site before applying.
To keep listings fresh, grants are automatically re-checked on a schedule. Any grant whose deadline has passed is marked Closed, and grants that haven't been verified in over 90 days are flagged internally for a fresh review. The 'Last verified' date on each listing tells you exactly when the most recent check happened.
Grant programs change without notice — deadlines move, funding runs out, eligibility shifts. That's why we treat verification as a freshness signal, not a guarantee. If you spot something wrong on a listing, use Report This Grant on the detail page and include the Ryplle ID. Our review team investigates every report and updates the listing or its status as needed.
