Using the Document Vault
A passcode-protected home for the organization documents funders keep asking for.
The Document Vault is a private, passcode-protected space where you keep the organization documents that funders ask for again and again — your 501(c)(3) determination letter, W-9, audited financials, board list, insurance certificate, and more.
The idea is simple: upload each document once, then download it whenever an application needs the same file. Everything lives in one place, so you're not hunting through email or old folders every time a deadline approaches.
You set a 4-8 digit passcode when you first open the vault. Enter it each time you unlock — nobody at Ryplle can see it, and it can't be recovered, so keep it somewhere safe. If you forget it, you can reset it by confirming your Ryplle account password.
Inside the vault you can search and filter by category, add notes to any document, and record an expiry date for things that renew. Each file can be downloaded directly from the vault whenever you need it for an application.
The vault also includes a 'What to keep on hand' guide listing the documents most funders request. These are recommendations only — upload whatever makes sense for your organization and name things however you like.
